What's in the Box? December 1, 2015

I hope you all had a wonderful—and well-fed—Thanksgiving. My family certainly did. But since we were out of town for the entire week, I now have two weeks worth of CSA share to eat ASAP!

After a moment of panic last night when I realized both of my refrigerators were bursting at the seems, I sat down and made a meal plan. I always feel better with a plan. This week’s plan will require a lot of daily cooking, but if I play it right—by making several dishes now to eat later—I should be enjoying chicken pot pie, chicken noodle soup, and kimchi, long after our share has ended, and without creating any extra work for myself.

In the meantime, we are going to keep eating like every day is Thanksgiving Day!
